- Henry is very much mobile now. Crawling (standard and army-style), pulling up on things, and even a bit of tentative cruising around the furniture. He is a very active boy, something I am reminded of whenever I see other babies his age, most of whom sit there and stare at him while he goes around stealing their toys.
- We're coming to Michigan in April! Henry and I will be there April 21-26, Matt will join us at some point approaching the weekend. Can't wait to visit!
- Henry has two teeth (sort of). They don't look like much yet, but you can certainly feel them (especially if you're lucky enough to be bit by them).
- I saw daffodils the other day! This was very very exciting to me. I'm not sure Henry was as enthusiastic when I pointed them out to him. It kind of made me wish that we had a real garden so I could watch as the flowers start blooming. Eh, our neighbors do. I'll just watch theirs.
- Henry's curtains are done. Yay! Somehow his bedroom has taken on a "primary colors" theme, much to my surprise. But I like it.
- Not to be outdone by his cousins, Henry is now signed up for a swimming class in May. Should be exciting.
- We have (very) clean carpets. We decided that it would be worth investing in a deep cleaner for our carpets (as we anticipate a lot of messes in the coming years), so we got one last week. Earlier this week, Henry and I were banished (to go shopping) while Matt moved all the furniture and cleaned the carpets. And no, this was not my idea (although I am very much enjoying it).
- We have a new (used) stroller! I really like it, although I'm actually planning to buy another one when I get the chance. The new one is great for serious walks and will last us for quite awhile I think, but it's not really the "live in the trunk" kind of stroller that I would like to have. I think I'll try to pick up one of those inexpensively at some point before I attempt to travel with Henry by myself (in April).
- Just one more week of crazy schedules for Matt. This is great for my need to establish a routine, but I will miss having a few quiet evenings to myself (like right now) and the long weekends with Matt home.
- Finally, I think this kid is great. :-)
