Henry is now 9 and a half months old. As you may have noticed, he has started to walk! It was kind of slow at first (actually, after we posted that last video, he stopped trying to walk altogether for about a week), but he is really starting to get the hang of it now. He doesn't walk all the time, as he is more efficient with the crawling, but every day he is choosing to walk more and more. I'm not sure if this is really a good thing or not (as a friend pointed out... it can be difficult when they learn to walk before they understand "No"), but it has been a lot of fun watching him figure this out.
Some of his other "tricks" include:
Clapping. He has been clapping for quite some time now. For awhile, I could get him to clap just by saying "Yay!" Now, however, he's doing it more when he is really pleased by something. The other day, he heard Matt singing in the shower and started clapping. His favorite thing, though, is probably this crazy guy.
Drinking from a cup. Henry always likes to drink out of my glass, so I started giving him his own. We're still only doing a little bit of water at a time, as whatever goes in the glass is just as likely to end up on his shirt or the tray, but he is learning.
Using a spoon. Lately, after a few bites of food, Henry has taken to grabbing the spoon from me and trying to feed himself. If I'm not in a hurry to get anywhere, I sometimes let him. With predictable results.

Swimming. We've been taking some swim lessons for the last few weeks. Henry's favorite part is chasing the duckies. The idea is to get the ducks and bring them back to the "nest."
We also just bought him a new car seat. I think we'll try it out today if we can figure out how to get it in the car. Haha. Stay tuned for another post about the seat.
And just because...
