Super-Charlie

Charlie has a super-power.  No matter how much of myself I cover with a burp cloth (or blanket), he always manages to turn his head *just* before spitting up so as to avoid the cloth completely and soak me and/or the couch.  I don’t even know how he does it, but I’m considering wearing a poncho.  Or taking him to the bathtub to burp him (although I know he’d save something for me later).

Toddler-speak

Cunchtable (Henry): comfortable (but often used as “un-comfortable”)
Breaktast (Henry): Breakfast
Bonana (Lucy): Banana
Bojamas (Lucy): Pajamas
Woodles (Lucy): Noodles
Purcy (Lucy): Princess (she has a purse with princesses and gets confused)
Boogers (Henry): Burgers
Ridiclious (Henry): Ridiculous (a new favorite word)
January (Henry): Daffodils (I told him how crazy it was to have Daffodils coming up in January, so now he thinks there are “Januaries” growing in the garden)
