Henry is a champion eater. White rice, brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, applesauce, bananas, avocado... he hasn't tried anything yet that he doesn't like! The other day we were out eating Thai food and I gave him some plain rice (not even cereal... just regular rice) and he ate that, too. I'm not sure I love the cleaning-up part of feeding a baby, but it sure is fun to watch him eat. :-)

Are you fixing your own fruits and veggies for him or are you using store bought baby food? I'd like to make food for Valerie, but I am a bit frightened of how much work it could be.
Williams Sonoma has a baby food maker that looks really simple to use and clean. Just search baby on williams-sonoma.com and you'll see it.
That does look handy. I do have a mini food processor, which is very helpful.
That boy makes me proud. Way to go, Henry!!!
I made most of Jack's food. Still do actually...he can just feed himself with a fork and spoon. It is very easy. All you do is steam and put it in a normal food processor. I used a big one for squash, sweet potatoes etc. and my little one to make him banana smoothies and applesauce. Go for it Siubhan it will be okay.
